This position offers an exciting opportunity for a Clinical Psychologist to gain valuable experience providing specialist psychology services across two diverse services offered by the organisation.
The post holder will spend three days per week providing inpatient neuropsychological support to a rehabilitation centre based in the West Midlands. The post includes working within a multidisciplinary team providing specialist psychological assessment and rehabilitation interventions for clients with a range of neurological impairments; including clients with challenging behaviours. Duties include neuropsychology assessments, formulating and implementing treatment plans, liaison with other team members, professionals and families/carers, attending clinical case reviews, report writing and supervision of Assistant Psychologists.
In addition, this post includes two days each week in the community, working with clients with a range of neurological and other impairments. The post holder will provide psychological assessment and therapeutic interventions to clients including children, adults, couples and families. Duties include assessment, intervention, liaising with case managers, families and professionals and report writing.
The ideal candidate will preferably be looking to pursue a career in neuropsychology, be enthusiastic, self-motivated and keen to take on an instrumental role in this growing organisation. Opportunities to participate in post-graduate training and development will be available to the successful candidate.
